Post Haste

Disney has released a statement saying that "The Avengers" will be converted to 3D in post. I haven't seen "The Clash of the Titans" remake because the original was good enough for me at the time I first watched it, but I have heard it wasn't that good. I also read that it was even worse in post converted 3D. Even Joss Whedon seems to be on the 3D bandwagon, which doesn't seem like a confidence builder to me. Regardless of my non-fanboy attitude toward the movie, I do wish it success because of 1 person I know who is really looking forward to it. Read More...
Always Something There

I was originally going to write about the first 2 episodes from the series "Game of Thrones" that I watched until I was distracted by a last-minute 10 o'clock, which was followed up by Naked Eyes' "(There's) Always Something There To Remind Me" playing over the radio. Talk about a one-two combination out of nowhere. But from this I learned that no matter how hard I try to create my new future, there will always be something within to remind me of something that was once special to me.
Now I'm sounding all sappy and blech! "Game of Thrones" is definitely a decent series, from a male perspective. How can someone not like The Imp? He's probably my favorite character of the show because he encapsulates a lot of attributes that draws me to a character - witty, hedonistic, confident.
However, I don't like the dire wolf dying in the second episode. It makes me despise all of the characters, minus the wolf, Tyrion, Bran, Jon Snow, and Arya. And that cock of a prince reminds me of Draco from the "Harry Potter" stories.
